The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is Britain’s national regulator for workplace health and safety.

It prevents work-related death, injury and ill health. The HSE works across the vast majority of industries, including pesticides, agriculture, construction, energy, and health and social care.

HSE is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions.
